An industry leader for 25+ years, Marilisa has keyed events for some of the biggest players in the industry. From fashion shows for DSquared, Versace, Izzy Camilleri and Mikhael Kale, to providing the creative direction for international campaigns for Marc Anthony Hair Care and L'Orèal, she is most comfortable with tools in hand. Her portfolio contains international editorial work, music videos as well as her work at the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, TIFF and other red carptets. Some of her advertising clients have included Nike, Samsung, MAC Cosmetics, Roots and Cadillac Fairview
Marilisa is the resident Artistic Director for MAV Beauty Brands and has a private client list where she cuts upon request, focusing on low-maintenance modern cuts. Marilisa has traveled the world for hair. Her ability to identify and create fashion forward hair-trends have been published in the pages of Vogue and can also be seen through her editorial work for magazines such as FASHION and Elle Canada. Her celebrity clientelle have included Meg Donnelly, Anna Wintour, Justin Bieber, Fergie, Eva Longoria, and Tilda Swinton to name a few.
Marilisa's expertise has allowed her to work with several televisions shows such as Canada's Next Top Model, City Line, and Canadian Superstar Hair Challenge, where she acted as a behind-the-scene technical advisor and on-air mentor.
