Rodney Smith
Off Figure & Product Stylist
Rodney Smith, sought after by global brands, is considered one of the best stylists in Canada for off figure and propping.
Years of consistent effort, creativity and insatiable curiosity have kept him ahead of the curve with aesthetic and creative trends at large.
After studying contemporary painting and art installation at the Ontario College of Art and Design, Rodney took that newly minted skillset and set to work in Luxury retail.
As a menswear and off figure stylist for Holt Renfrew's flagship store he spent nearly a decade honing his craft through window installations and large events. A posting at Ralph Lauren followed right after, managing visual teams across the country for Caban.
Rodney works closely with clients and photographers in a collaborative manner to create artful and innovative ideas that strengthen their brand using the image making process.
Providing ongoing Creative Direction to Hermes Canada for ten years now designing windows, pop up stores, merchandising and large events has sharpened his innate ability to see a concept to fruition in multiple mediums both in two and three dimensions regardless of scale.
A partial list of commercial clients includes Hermes, Holt Renfrew, Harry Rosen, Bite Beauty, HBC, Indigo, RBC, RW&CO, Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, Le Chateau, Aldo, Netflix and Winners as well as various publications such as Fashion, Glow Mag, Style & Home, Sharp, Globe & Mail, Style Advisor, En Route and Toronto Life.
